Price Second Vatican Council in the new evangelization and catechesis

Abstract

Evangelism is the first encounter with the Gospel, which introduces man to the way of salvation. The mission of evangelization, which is a continuation of the work of our Lord Jesus Christ, is a necessary and indispensable expression of the Church's deepest nature. The mission is to instilling faith in Christ and inclusion in community life of the Church. This is achieved by the ministry of the word done in the school and parish catechesis, which -in order to serve their purpose -it must be a form of authentic evangelization. The Second Vatican Council gave a unique opportunity to renewal of ecclesial life in the modern candles. Catechetical instruction in school is not just an intellectual study of religion, religion, religious ceremony in the sense of a sociological phenomenon, since catechesis, the school is an encounter with the Risen Christ in the community of people with experience of faith. The main tasks of catechesis posed in the dimension of the new evangelization are catechized lead to an encounter with Christ, enabling them to experiencerepentance, conversion and renewal of humanity, putting them in the communion of the Church, to bring catechized to take outdoor signs, and to bear witness to the Christian life. The church also gives indications for evangelizing catechesis, conducted in a spirit of Vatican II. These guidelines are: ensuring Christocentric dimension of catechesis, care for the attitude of the catechist, lead to the building and survival of the community, and pointing to Mary as "Star of Evangelization"
