Upbringing and values

Abstract

Upbringing is helping children and youth understand themselves and the meaning of their own existence. It is supporting them in the process of reaching maturity in all spheres of humanity. It also means helping them to be wise and good at the same time. The condition for responsible and integral upbringing is helping children and youth discover a mature hierarchy of values that would guide them in making decisions. The human being is the greatest value on our planet and so are all moral principles and goods that protect a person from harm and suffering and help them become a mature version of themselves.
