New life in communion with the risen Christ in the light of the Letter to the Colossians

In the Letter to the Colossians, Paul emphasizes the effectiveness of the work of salvation of believers in Christ. It is guaranteed by virtue of the power of God, revealed fully in Christ's resurrectionfrom the dead. It also shows the status of the faithful in soteriological terms kosmologiczno-space, which is the introduction to the realm of God's salvation (Col 3:1-2a). This implies a commitment and a stronger penetration in this sphere, to which the man was introduced by baptism. It should also protect themselves against the temptation to return to their former sinfulness, symbolized by "what is at the bottom" (v. 2b).
